Course Objectives The aim of this course is to enable the student to practice what they have learned by doing practices in preschool and special education institutions.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain the pre-school education program and the practices that are included in the program.
  • Apply the activities in the pre-school education program.
  • Explain the special education program and the practices that are included in the program.
  • Recognize the children with different development to handicapped species.
  • Help the children to bring self-care skills during the practises.
  • Explain the characteristics of the child’s physical, motor, cognitive, social-emotional and language development areas.
Course Description This course involves observing children, recognizing types of hindrance, explaning the organization of plan and program, bringing self-care skills to children at pre-school education and special education institutions.
